A team from Terra Motors (Japan’s No 1 Electric vehicle company), Gurugram visited NCU on 8 Feb 2018 in connection with a project titled ‘Structural analysis of electric 3W chassis’ submitted to Terra Motors for support by Dr Rohit Singh Lather, Associate Professor, Dept of ME and Mr Aditya Choudhary, and Mr Vaibhav Kaushik (BWS-Vibration Lab). The team from Terra Motors comprising of Mr Masanori Takahashi, Vice President Production and Mr Karthik Anantha,
Manager visited NCU to see and assess the resources and facilities for the project at the University. They discussed about the project with the project team of 3rd Year ME students as well as Mr Tarun Rana, Mr Suraj Yadav and Mr Shubham Jha, technical staff of ME. They also interacted with Prof. Prem Vrat, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Prof. HB Raghavendra, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Ravindra Ojha, Director SOET and Head, Dept of ME. They visited the CAD Lab, to see the Solidworks and ANSYS workstation facilities, BWS-Vibration Lab and IC Engines Lab. The visit by Terra Motors was facilitated by Dr Rohit Singh Lather.
