Synergy Club, School of Management, NCU organized the ‘AD-MAD Show’- an advertisement making competition on 8 Feb 2018. It was open to all students of the University and they participated in teams of 3-4 students. Students showcased their creativity in marketing products and services and as well as their acting talent. The objective of the event was to acquaint students about the promotional strategies of marketing through advertisements.
It comprised of humorous and conceptual Ad presentations by students who were provided an innovative product that was not yet launched in the market and they were expected to present an Ad of a maximum of one minute.
The event started with an introductory presentation regarding the rules for the participants. After allotting the topics the students were given 10 minutes to prepare for the Ad. All the advertisements were very entertaining, which also received a good response from the audience. All the participating teams displayed creative thinking and commendable team work. AD MAD Show’s Winning Team comprised of Ujjawal, Stephen, Rohan and Sagar and the Runners-up team comprised of Aarushi, Anushka, Aditya and Aditi, BBA 4 th Sem. Dr Saumya Dixit and Dr Preeti Chawla were the judges of the competition and shared their appreciation of the event. The faculty coordinator for the event was Dr Shelly Singhal.
