A guest lecture by Prof. S.S. Murthy, Professor (Rtd.) IIT Delhi, was conducted by EECE Department on 23.4.2015 at ITM University. The lecture was attended by Pro-chancellor Prof. Prem Vrat, Director SOET Prof. Ojha, HOD’s, faculty EECE Dept. and EE and ECE students.
Prof.
S.S. Murthy covered various modes of power generation and importance of
power generation using wind as the main energy source, along with other
sources like solar, biomass, thermal etc. He presented the current
status of the power generation, using wind in India and across the
world. Prof. Murthy also highlighted the hardware projects related to
the said area and set up involved in the projects. It was an informative
session, where students and faculty got an idea to further explore this
new research area to enhance power generation and controls in research
and industry. The guest lecture was organized by Ms. Anjali and Ms.
Shaveta Arora of EECE Dept.
