Merit is encouraged and rewarded through teaching assistant ships to GATE qualified students up to Rs.10.000/ per month for students with 90% ile GATE score or more.
The unique feature about our M Tech Programs is their strong orientation towards industry and research. For that university/ depts work in close association with some of the reputed industries. Therefore, as required by industry there is strong stress on advanced learning in specialised areas and practical orientation with increased lab work content. The labs at ITMU are well equipped with latest eqpt. and industry/ research standard software packages which are accessible to students beyond teaching hours also. This helps the students in doing good quality thesis work, many time in association with industry, facilitating internships and eventual placements. E-access is available for students to international journals and books not only from campus which is fully Wi-Fi, but also from home.
To further enhance the employability of our M Tech students both for teaching and industry careers , external agencies are hired to provide personality development programmes (PDP) for overall grooming of the students. Special emphasis is laid on development of communication and presentation skills, which are the basic essential requirements for jobs, whether in teaching / industry or any other domain. This helps in holistic development and grooming of our students for successful careers ahead.
