A frontrunner amongst educational institutions in
India, ITM University, Gurgaon continues to evolve by regularly reviewing the
progress made and making future plans for the University’s growth and
development. In this context, the Academic Advisory Board of the University,
the supreme advisory body comprising of eminent educationists and industry
experts who carry with
them a width of knowledge, years of relevant experience and expertise
met in the University campus on 14 February 2015. Most of them are on the panel of leading national governance bodies.
Hon’ble members exchanged views, presented new and
refreshing ideas, and advised on the future course of action to improve
academic life and other essential deliverable, so that the University could
achieve its ultimate aim of attaining a position of preeminence in India and
have a global presence. They discussed key issues such as placement for
students, flexibility in the curriculum, research and consultancy etc.
Flexibility in curriculum was an important component of the discussions so as to give as much of freedom of choices to students to study
what interests them most. Apart from Core subjects there are nearly 100 courses
for students to choose from.
Their inputs shall go
a long way to help shape and enhance the overall academic quality, curriculum
development and spectrum of services at this premier University.
