ISHRAE Society, NCU organised an industrial trip to the world-class manufacturing plant of Daikin Air Conditioners India Pvt Ltd at Neemrana, Alwar on 22 Feb 2018. The ISHRAE-NCU team comprised of 23 students and one faculty member. The students got an opportunity to visit the training facility and its different assembly lines such as Room Air Conditioners-indoor and outdoor units, Chillers, VRV unit assembly lines etc. After the plant visit, all technical doubts were entertained by its R&D department head, Mr Sanjay Tandon and his team of Managers.
Possibility of internships, industry defined projects and expert lectures were also explored. Daikin has a reputation of offering the highest quality of HVAC equipment at a most reasonable price. The visit was coordinated by Mr Nishant Mathur, Daikin Air Conditioners Pvt Ltd and Mr Jag Parvesh Dahiya, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
