Industry experts from Delta Electronics Ltd., Gurugram organized training on ‘Industrial Automation’ for the Delta Cup from 1-5 Feb 2018 at NCU. 36 students from four universities viz., The NorthCap University, Gurugram; NIET, GNoida; LPU, Punjab and NIT, Kurukshetra were selected to participate in this national level training programme. Three NCU students from each of the Depts of EECE and ME were selected for this important training. Faculty coordinators Dr Charu Rana and Mr Abhishek Pratap Singh also participated in this training.
The highlights of the training programme were hands-on working on automation kits and interaction with industry experts. Students were trained to implement projects based on automation, machines and robotics. Prof. Prem Vrat, Pro Chancellor and Prof. Ravindra Ojha, Director, SOET interacted with Delta officials Ms Rituparna Ghosh Vats, Dy GM (HR) and Mr Vimal Pandey, Assistant Manager for the next level of engagement between Delta and NCU.
