Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted an interactive session with Alumnus Mr Mehul Jain, (Class of 2015), Piping Design Engineer, Jacobs Engineering, Gurugram on the topic ‘A glimpse of EPCM industries’ for 3rd Year students on 13 September 2017. Mr Mehul presented an overview of EPC companies, the role of piping in EPC companies and future scope of mechanical engineers in these companies. He demonstrated the use of piping software in these industries and discussed a case study demonstrating the same and further agreed to mentor students who are targeting placements in EPC companies. The session was coordinated by Mr Anmol Bhatia.
