Mr. Surender Gupta, Principal Consultant at TCS,
delivered a thought provoking session on ‘Ubiquitious Computing’ to the faculty
members and PG students of CSE/IT at ITM University, Gurgaon. Mr. Gupta has
over 30 years of experience in IT industry and is presently Head, Technology Excellence Group, Chief
Architect, Enterprise Systems, Government Sector (Worldwide). He talked about ‘computing
anytime, anywhere’ and how the technology eco-system is solving complex problems
of the sectors like agriculture, healthcare, automobile industry etc. in the
Indian context. The talk was very inspiring and interactive. Several new
ideas of student projects were also discussed during the session.
