Department of CSE & IT Organized a Lecture on Requirement and Applications of Cryptography in Real World

A guest lecture on ‘Requirement and Applications of Cryptography in Real World’   by Mr Tarun Yadav, Scientist ‘C’, DRDO, Scientific Analysis Group (SAG), Delhi was organized by the Dept of CSE&IT on 21 March 2018. He discussed about major projects which students can pursue in their final year and latest research topics in the same area. Students who have good knowledge of mathematics and programming can now apply for internship in DRDO. Research scholars interacted with him for guidance in their PhD work. 190 students attended this lecture. 



Mr Tarun Yadav has been a part of various research projects in the domain of cyber security, malware analysis and reverse engineering. Presently he is a part of cryptanalytic activities at SAG, Delhi and working on design and development of methodologies for cryptanalysis of stream as well as block cipher based cryptosystems. He has authored three research papers and a thesis book in the domain of cyber security and np-complete problems. The lecture was coordinated by Ms Mehak Khurana.
