A Professional Societies Fest was organized at the University on 12 January 2018. The registration counters were established by the following Professional Societies: Computer Society of India, ACM, SPIE, IEEE, ISHARE, ASQ, SAE, SPACE, IRSC Student chapter, OSA Student Chapter and Enactus. The fest gave exposure to students about the various professional societies active in the University and the activities/events organized by these societies throughout the year.
The fest provided a platform to students to get registered for these reputed societies at one place and time and subsequently, learn and participate in various events like seminar, expert lectures, workshops, projects, industrial visits, job junctions etc. The purpose of this fest was to disseminate maximum information about societies to students and motivate them to be a part of it. The fest was successful as a good number of students inquired and registered themselves in the different societies.
