The Dept of EECE organized an expert lecture on the topic ‘Industry Applications of
IoT’ by Mr Manas Jain, Associate Director, Axtria - Ingenious Insights, Gurugram for
BTech ECE/CSE 5 th Semester students on 8 September 2017. Mr Jain spoke about the
latest technological trends in IoT, its applications in industry and the infrastructure and
resources required for IoT. He discussed the use of IoT in marketing & advertising,
environmental monitoring, manufacturing applications, healthcare applications and
many others. Students understood the hardware and software requirements for IoT and
discussed project ideas in this domain. The event was coordinated by Ms Vandana
Khanna and Ms Amanpreet Kaur.
