ITM University, Gurgaon Student Bags First Prize in National Mobile App Contest


Pranav Jain, BTech CSE 2nd year, has been awarded the first prize in Times App Search Contest organized by Times of India. He was awarded Certificate of Gold, the Winner’s Trophy and Apple Macbook Air for “Best Mobile App Idea”. The mobile app developed by Pranav, ‘PassKey’ provides a new way of managing passwords to the users. The user can access applications with different passwords with ease with the help of this app. This app can work flawlessly across any platform.


Times App Search Contest is an annual nation-wide mobile app idea contest inviting original ideas on the “Next Big App”, open to entrepreneurs of all age groups. The final round of the contest was held at Le-Meriden Hotel, New Delhi on 26 March 2015. Besides being the winner of the contest, Pranav was the youngest amongst all other winners. He was accompanied by Parichay Tayal, BTech CSE 2nd year as a member of the team.
