MAKE IN INDIA’ BRAINSTORMING SESSION – ASQ & ITMU

On the 15 Jul 2015 a session on ‘Make in India’ which is a topical issue for India, was conducted. The session was held in ITM University, led by our knowledge partner – ASQ India, with twenty two participants from industry (majorly the esteemed suppliers of Maruti) and academia. It was chaired by Prof. Prem Vrat. A white-paper based on the recommendations of the participants is under preparation by ASQ. During the brain storming process the growing importance of Industry-Academia engagement was also emphasized by the leaders. One useful take-away for ITM University was the willingness of the industry leaders to support our University in the form of curriculum modification, special expert sessions and internship.
